How we deal with sold out gigs

You have booked and the gig is sold out - what happens next?

I am sorry to have to turn aside your request for a ticket to a show that is sold out.

But all is not lost. Read on...

In practice I always over-book the room slightly to a show, by about 30 people, as usually about 30 people fail to turn up, so if you are reading this I will have already done this.

BUT approaching a show date people do cancel, and I then work through those that have tried to book. Call it an unofficial waiting list.

This list will be worked through until around 10 a.m. on the day of the gig, after that, because I have to travel a fair way to get to Ruislip I can no longer see the "waiting list".

So beyond this time the best bet is to keep an eye on the web site as at some point it might go from "Sold Out" to tickets being available, this does not always happen of course, it depends on the level of returns.

If you see it as tickets available you could try to book again, or just turn up and ask around 9.30 at the door if we are over the fire limit for the room.
