JFK Blue - Original Blues & Old Rnb/Soul
JFK Blue are a London based 6 piece band. Going for nearly ten years with changes in personnel over the period the band now features the attack of the twin lead guitars of Stas Melian and Stef Allesbrook who also provides searing lead vocals for the band, on keyboards and flute classically trained Turkish born keyboard wiz Firat Gunel, on Tenor/ Alto Sax, the amazing Omid Amiri. And completing the lineup Leslie Fleischman and Dave Charles on bass & drums two highly experienced musicians.
The band have recorded one album, an EP, and three singles and with a brand new album currently in production.
The music is original blues rock, with a splash of old style r’n’b and Soul, it’s a bunch of musicians with big band sensibilities but with groove mixed with raw grit and the power enough to lift the roof off any venue they play.
The band has played everywhere from the O2 Academy to intimate blues and rock clubs up and down the UK, regulars at the 100 Club London & Half Moon Putney, and played festivals all over the place from the Colne Blues Festival, Cambridge Rock Festival, Ealing Blues Festival and many many more.
Not a band content to just play safe or play standards, but cross boundaries, experiment and create something totally new !
