Gary Cain
Gary Cain
Gary Cain is a Canadian-born, Austin-bred, and now UK-based guitarist, singer and songwriter with one foot planted firmly in the blues, and the other foot planted in seemingly everything else.
Drawing on a wide range of influences from Albert King to AC/DC, Cain’s incendiary fret-work earned him an opening slot with blues-rocker George Thorogood, a Semi-Finalist finish at the International Blues Challenge, and main-stage appearances at major festivals across North America, Europe, and the UK.
His 2022 album Next Stop received widespread critical acclaim, and was called “a stunning tour de force of musicianship” by Blues Blast Magazine (UK). 2024 saw the release of his 3rd album, Outside The Lines, charting on the UK’s Independent Blues Broadcasters’ Top 40 albums, and further staking out his own style and artistic voice.
"a fearless lyricist, a ripping guitarist, and a creator with his own ideas about how to play this game of ours, which means you need to be listening."
- Rock and Blues Muse (USA)
"ridiculously talented, genre-bending guitarist...a jaw-dropper.”
- Blues Matters Magazine (UK)
