The David Sinclair Four (DS4), came together when David Sinclair hooked up with guitarist Geoff Peel, a sage of the London blues circuit. DS4 has built up a dedicated following and won glowing testimonials for a show full of good time rock & roll energy, stirring personal blues ballads and wry narrative wit. The Morning Star called their set at the Half Moon in Putney “A bluesy rock masterclass that displays the band’s pure musical talent and tightness as a unit.”
Stuart Maxwell's Blues Raiders
Stuart Maxwell's Blues Raiders delivers hard-edged blues that is rooted in tradition, but is still rocking and funky. You'll hear Muddy and the Wolf, alongside Junior Wells, Bill Withers, and The Allman Brothers. Graham Bond is in there too, as well as plenty of original songs in the classic style. The band not only features ex Storm Warning and Mick Ralphs Band frontman Stuart Maxwell on vocals, harmonica and keys but also Matt Edwards on guitar.
The finale will include special guests, guitarist Steve Summers and The Sharpeez Bill Mead and maybe more. Live music from 8pm sharp.
