Soul Intention featuring Paul Cox

Formed in April 1992 Paul Cox's Soul Intention celebrate their 30th anniversary with a series of gigs celebrating the classic soul years and also material from Paul's own CD's that suit this genre. 

Over the years the band have played successful gigs up and down the land to many an enthusiastic audience, always making people dance to their blend of soul/funk classics. 

Fronted by Paul Cox, in his own right a now established artist on the British Blues Scene with several excellent releases on note-music, the band contains a stellar line up of top players with CV's to die for. 

Not only does the band perform the classics, they make them their own in many ways, as so many people have testified too over the years. 

Artists such as Otis Redding, Sam and Dave ,Wilson Pickett, The Temptations, Bobby Womack, The O'Jays, Jackie Wilson, Eddie Floyd,  James Brown, James Carr and Solomon Burke are covered and respectfully performed by the band.
