You do NOT need to be a "member" to come to gigs.
To reserve your tickets ahead of the gig and thus guarantee you get in should it sell out AND get any discount that might be applicable (most nights this is £2 off the door price) you complete the longer form the very first time you book, and thereafter you can complete the shorter form (details of how to find the shorter form on the web site will be e-mailed to you).
So, having completed the form, you click "Submit" and provided you have completed the e-mail address section correctly you will get an e-mail something like the one below as an AUTOMATED response.
pre-book "ticket" is not really a ticket
We just collate a list on the door under surnames and if your name is on it you and your party get in at the pre-book rate, where you pay cash on the door, this saves YOU money on booking fees etc. However, please regard any booking as firm and adjust/cancel etc. as if it was a ticket.

In the event that the gig is sold out we reserve the right to release your ticket to anyone waiting for returns at 9.30 and in this case you may well NOT be allowed in. (For SUNDAY gig timings see the P.S. at the foot of this letter)
We ask you to pay in cash on arrival and if you cannot make it for any reason TELL US by 6 p.m. on the day of the gig. YOU CANNOT PAY BY CARD ANYWHERE IN THE VENUE, IT IS CASH ONLY and there is NO cash machine there.
This is an automated response, a manual response will be sent to you in due course, which will simply be the booking details returned to you, these are sent daily normally. If you get this message, or the manual one twice, do not worry, the "system" sometimes glitches. THE MANUAL RESPONSE IS YOUR TICKET AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR BOOKING.
To CHANGE your booking please use the "Change Ticket" button/form on the web site. NEVER JUST SEND AN E-MAIL TO BOOK TICKETS OR CHANGE A BOOKING as it may well not get through.

We add your e-mail address to our e-list and will write to you once a week to let you have any news and remind you of what we have coming up the following week (or so). If you want to come off the list at any time you can ask and we will remove you, but if you then book again you might well be added automatically to it....
Your pre-booking gets you in a bit cheaper and also helps us set out the room depending on numbers and also ensure we can get the the venue to get the correct number of bar staff for the evening.
We do ask you to use the correct forms for all e-mails connected with bookings as they go to special e-mail addresses which then generate copies to other members of staff who might be collating the list.
