The Del Bromham Band + special guest Big Gilson

An exclusive gig for one night only with Del Bromham in trio band format and featuring special guest Brazilian blues guitarist Big Gilson.

The Del Bromham Band

Del Bromham’s autobiography titled ‘Rock and Roll Survivor’ and the new STRAY album titled ‘ABOUT TIME’ was released worldwide in September 2023 and to promote his biography, Del will be touring in 2024 with his trio featuring Karl Randall on drums and Colin ‘Curvy’ Kempster on bass guitar. The show will include some of Del’s favourite songs with snippets and stories from his autobiography and more. Plus only at the Tropic gig, Brazilian blues guitarist Big Gilson will be Del’s special guest.

Del Bromham at 15 years of age, after playing in his brother's band, formed his own group called ‘The Stray’. By 1970 at 18 years of age STRAY had signed their first record deal with Transatlantic Records and released the first self-titled album ‘STRAY’. The band went on to record 14 studio and live albums and Del Bromham and STRAY have toured constantly. There have been other artistes who have covered songs by Del Bromham and STRAY, notably Iron Maiden who recorded and released STRAY’s, arguably best known song, ‘All in your Mind’ as the flip side to the 1970 no.1 single ‘Holy Smoke’. Although with varying line ups over the years, Del still tours as STRAY as well as having his own solo career. He has recorded 4 solo albums and the last critically acclaimed ‘White Feather’ album achieved the best reviews of his career to date.
